Qualified for the U.S. second seed Andy Roddick to the third round of the men's singles tennis championship Brisbane on Wednesday.
In the second round of the tournament in Australia, Roddick won the Ukrainian Alexander Dolgopolov 6-4, 6-1.
Beat Florian Mayer of Germany, ranked seventh Lithuanian Richard Bernekis 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 and won the Colombian Santiago Giraldo over German Benjamin Becker 6-3, 6-4
