Steve Bruce admitted coach to Sunderland that he had to insert right wing Ahmed Mohammadi and Jordan Henderson in order to speed work in his team's performance against Notts County.
Sunderland came out of the FA Cup against Notts County Saturday defeat 2-1 in a meeting attended by Mohammadi before the finish in 31 minutes.
Bruce said in remarks carried by the official site black cats after the meeting: "We did not play any attention to the basics and must be done in football is to win in any game and any team."
And continued: "This interest has not only shows the landing of Henderson and Mohammadi, but it was too late."
He called himself and Bruce Sunderland players after reviewing themselves out of the FA Cup, saying: "We can not come from home to Notts County and registered two goals, we must look to ourselves and reviewing is not excluded myself
